Firouzi Data Center Engineering is led by Mike M. Firouzi, a structural engineer and general contractor with extensive experience in structural, building envelope, construction, building code applications, forensic engineering and Urban Search & Rescue responses.

Professional Background

Mike has overseen and performed the design, analysis and forensic investigation of concrete, masonry, wood, steel and precast structures across commercial, municipal, residential, agricultural, coastal, marine and transportation projects. His responsibilities have included new construction as well as upgrading and retrofitting existing structures to meet increased static and dynamic loading requirements.

Within the forensic arena, Mike has been qualified to evaluate and opine on structural engineering issues, construction practices, building envelopes, industry standards, Building & Life Safety Codes and construction defects. He has provided expert testimony in judicial proceedings and served as an expert for state boards.

Mike has served as Project Manager and lead engineer at Firouzi Consulting Engineers, Inc. since 1995, focusing on construction management, structural engineering and forensic engineering.
